The Lagos State Government, under the leadership of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has continued to demonstrate its commitment to easing the economic burden of Lagosians, especially public servants, with the delivery of food palliative to the staff of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), on Monday.

The palliative, known as ‘Ounje Eko’, was delivered through the Governor’s Monitoring Team on Food Palliative, led by Rev. Dr. Stephen Oyinlola, who made the presentation to the management of LASUTH.

Receiving the food items, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, Chief Medical Director (CMD) of LASUTH, expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government for the thoughtful gesture:

“This gesture from the State Government shows that we have a supportive Governor who cares. This palliative would be distributed amongst the staff according to the directive of Mr. Governor”, he said.

The palliative food items include Spaghetti, Semolina flour, Sugar, Butter, Noodles and Wheat flour.
