A Legislator And A Guy Man ➖ The Difference (Part 1)
MAZI EJIMOFOR OPARA

“No Man can give that which is beyond his capacity”…
It has become very manifest that the Bede Eke “consolidation” project has been reduced to the pet project of a faction of the Nguru Umuaro Central Youths Assembly (NUCYA). This faction of Nguru Umuaro youths comprise of those whose CVs were collected during the last quarter of 2017 in the hope that Hon Bede – who could not influence the employment of his own younger brother save for the intervention of Hon Hon Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi – would provide them with plum jobs in Abuja, and some others whose proposals for medical outreach are still pending on the table of the Umuaga born “guy man”. More on the jobs and “paracetamol sharing” outreach will be discussed in subsequent series.
Some of this impressionable youths are in this for the purposes of an unhealthy and defeatist clan solidarity, not necessarily because they believe in the lethargic representation of Hon Bede, whom they know too well, especially his disconcerting personality and horrendous approach in the implementation of simple projects. For instance, the pictures below tell the story of the quality of thinking of two legislators on a similar project. While one hastily plunges into projects without clear cut implementation strategy, the other shows great dexterity in project management.
Legislators are not necessarily meant to execute projects. However, within the overall evaluation of their oversight function there is a whole lot of quality assessment that is expected from them. The question then is, for a Legislator who is unable to carry out personal projects qualitatively, what is his capacity for evaluating quality? A prima facie needs assessment of our educational needs as a people does not include the lack of school buildings, as every now and then pictures of decrepit school buildings around us are posted here in condemnation of one level of government or another.
This tells us one thing, the Nnorie Technical School building is just another hasty showmanship that merely touches the surface of our problems in this direction. For a man who shares WAEC fees like a Yoruba polygamist giving out feeding money to his innumerable children, erecting another school building that would later be abandoned to roaches and lizards is a big deal. Of course, Nguru Umuaro boys and the PDP want us to be happy, after all “we have never had it this good” from them – 12 years of PDP/Ihedioha waste, plus 8 years of PDP/Bede prodigious representation.
While I am sad that we have refused to accept our failure as a people who sent some “empty silent” legislator to the green chamber in Abuja, i am more sad that we have failed to see the rub off effect on our priority as an LGA. The effect that leaves Aboh Mbaise / Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency as a laughing stock in the comity constituencies in Nigeria.

Every project embarked upon by Hon Bede has revealed so much of who and what he is. From a shady University degree, hastily acquired in his days of disturbing perversion, to a despicable antecedent couched in unspeakable secrecy. I am, indeed, not surprised.
➖ Deacon Chike Okafor is a Born again Christian, a New Creature in Christ. A renowned Banker, with career records in Zenith Bank. He is a First timer in the green chamber and a part of the high fliers.
➖ Evangelist Bede Eke is a Born again Christian, a New Creature in Christ. A renowned ____________ , with career records in _______________ He is a First timer in the green chamber and a part of the back benchers.
NB:
If you want to know why he is a back bencher and not doing well as a Legislator, fill in the blank spaces. That is the difference between a Legislator and a Guy man.
