A 27-year old suspected internet fraudster, identified as Abass Kasali, has confessed to the Police that it was his mother who recommended that they had to use his father for money rituals and he then murdered him for the purpose.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened in Oyo State where Kasali resides with his parents before he agreed with his mother on the dastardly act in order to become rich.

Police operatives from the Oyo State Command arrested the suspect, Kasali, with a calabash filled with human head and components of the body in a small community call Atesbo in Oyo Kingdom.
Kasali told the Police in his statement while giving an explanation on how it commenced:

“I turned into a Yahoo boy and the scam was going smoothly as it ought to be; my clients usually pay and I became a big boy” he said.
However, he said that the business started changing and his clients no longer pay like before and he did not have money again. He then went to his mother and narrated his condition. She then took him to a known native doctor in the area for solutions.
He said that it was at the location they went to that the native doctor told him that for him to do the rituals usually called ‘Yahoo Plus’ and be successful, he must perform some sacrifices which will involve man or woman but the person must be close to him like his father, mother or his sibling.
Kasali claimed he had wanted to back out initially, that he cannot use any of his own family for the purpose of becoming rich.

However, he said that the whole thing changed when his mother convinced him for them to use his father for the purpose.
The suspect, Kasali, is now regretting the decision to use his father for money rituals after he was eventually arrested by the Police. He is now in Police custody even as investigations are being carried out in order to arrest every person who was involved in the heinous crime.

The Police source said that all suspects involved in the matter will be charged to Court for murder which attracts life imprisonment if they are tried and found guilty for the alleged offence.
