Lionel Messi Wants Neymar At Barca, Deal Unlikely

Barcelona FC star, Lionel Messi, is pushing for ex-team-mate, Neymar, to rejoin Barcelona, who he left back in 2017 for Paris Saint-German.
That’s again according to Telefoot, who say the Argentine wants his pal back.
Messi, who is in talks to extend his contract with the club, has made it clear to Catalan chiefs that he wants Neymar to be his team-mate again.
Messi and Neymar won a treble together in 2015 which included a Champions League win over Juventus in Berlin – a game which the latter scored in.
Paris Saint-Germain might be unlikely to sell Neymar to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, because the deal would be too complicated to sort to before the transfer deadline.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have both seen multiple bids knocked back by PSG so far this summer, but neither are giving up hope.
In his absence, the champions defeated Toulouse 4-0 at the Parc des Princes last night, but were hampered by injuries suffered by Kylian Mbappe and Edison Cavani.
And ESPN FC reporter Gabriele Marcotti believes that there is a chance Neymar will be forced to stay at the club due to the state of the squad.
“Obviously this puts the whole Neymar situation in a different light,” he said.
“Thomas Tuchel says that if Neymar’s going to go, he needs other guys in. The clock is ticking, and it’s ticking even more now.
“These don’t look like they’re going to be very long-term serious injuries. But it’s a numbers game, and PSG went through the whole season with a reduced squad last year.”
