One cannot possibly be guilty of sounding immodest to say that the month of July is wholly dedicated to the Iwuanyanwus in Amuzi Village, Dim na Nume Isu Community, Nwangele LGA, Imo State.

A brief analysis of the family’s birthday celebrations may have proven the above assertion right. For instance: the member representing Nwangele Constituency and Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon (Sir.) Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu was colourfully celebrated by his family, friends, colleagues, and political associates on the event marking his birthday on 6th July, 2025. His amiable wife and heartrob, Lady (Mrs.) Adora Shirley Iwuanyanwu, celebrated her birthday on 26th July, 2025; his late dad and icon, Chief (Sir.) Chyna Ignatius Iwuanyanwu, KSC (Ugochinyere Mba of Dim -na -Nume), celebrated his birthday posthumously on 29th July, 2025.

Yesterday, Wednesday, 30th July, 2025, his beloved mother, Lolo (Lady) Joy Chimdi Iwuanyanwu, celebrated her birthday in grand style as she joyfully clocked 70. It was her day and the joy of this grandmother knew no bounds!

You cannot exhaustively mention first 10 best nurses and matrons in Orlu zone and Imo State in the early 90s; without a prominent mention of this elegant work of creation with a heart of gold— an amazon of a woman— a loving and caring mother — a matron— Lolo Joy Iwuanyanwu , the unassuming mother of Imo State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, KSC. The mother Theresa of the Iwuanyanwus; a precious gift to humanity.

She didn’t just give Nwangele people a son for a representative but a Deputy Speaker, who is dispassionately, tirelessly, and assiduously working so hard to put his constituency on the political map of the Shared Prosperity Government for a possible shared dividends of democracy.’ No doubt , the gift of his presence is also felt in the state.

A beautiful, meek, caring mother, and grandmother.
