Maltina At 50: Why The Brand Is Investing In Nourishing One Million Young Minds

Posted on June 7, 2026
For 50 years, Maltina has done more than satisfy thirst; it has brought joy, happiness, and togetherness to homes across Nigeria.
As the brand celebrates its 50th anniversary, it continues its legacy of championing nourishment that brings happiness to classrooms through the Maltina Nourishment Tour — a nationwide initiative designed to nourish one million young minds through science and experiential learning.
The Maltina Nourishment Tour, which kicked off its first phase on the 9th February, 2026, with schools in Lagos, has since expanded nationally. This initiative goes beyond a commemorative campaign. It reflects Maltina’s long-standing belief that proper nourishment extends beyond physical wellbeing and plays a vital role in helping young people reach their full potential.
Bringing this belief to life, the Nourishment Tour blends nutrition education with hands-on STEM experiences to help students better understand the connection between their nutrition, learning, and personal growth. Through the choices they make about what they eat and drink, Maltina is encouraging young minds to see curiosity, confidence, and creativity as qualities that can be nurtured every day.
At every stop, students explore how vitamins, minerals, and proper nutrition improve focus and fuel creativity. Each event is filled with colour, curiosity, and connection. Students participate in live science experiments, learn about the nutrients in their favourite Maltina drink, and join interactive challenges that transform learning into an exciting experience. Alongside the educational activities, Maltina refreshes and nourishes students with its vitamin-enriched malt drink, available in convenient 25cl and 50cl PET bottles designed for everyday moments — from schoolbags to playgrounds.
Popular media personalities, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori and Tomike Adeoye, as well as other influencers, also joined the tour at various stops in Lagos and Ibadan, bringing excitement, fun, and happiness.
As the tour continues through Ogun State and other parts of the country, Maltina remains focused on delivering impactful, experience-driven learning that not only educates but inspires, ensuring the next generation is equipped with the knowledge and nourishment needed to thrive.
For Maltina, the Nourishment Tour represents a natural evolution of a brand long associated with family wellbeing, growth, and happiness. At a time when conversations around education and youth development are more important than ever, the brand is positioning itself not only as a household name but also as a long-term partner in raising a healthier, smarter, and more empowered generation.
At its heart, the Maltina Nourishment Tour embodies a singular truth: When young Nigerians are fueled to learn and play, the country’s future glows brighter.
For Maltina, nourishment has never been limited to what is inside the bottle — it is about the opportunities, confidence, and possibilities it helps create.
