Man, 28, Docked For Penetrating 14-Year Old Girl’s Anus

A 28-year old man, Okpaku Francis, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly penetrating the anus of a 14-year old girl in order to satisfy his sexual desires and inflicting injury on her in the process.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 25th December, 2025 at Alhaja Sikirat Street, Hosanna Estate, Ago Palace Way, Akota, Lagos where they reside.
According to the Police, the suspect lured the victim to his apartment and forcefully engaged her in sex by penetrating both her anus and vagina and injured her in the process.
The matter was reported to the Police and the suspect was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct against the victim.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charges read:
“That you, Okpaku Francis ‘m’, on the 25th day of December, 2025, at about 2100hours, at No. 10, Alhaja Sikirat Street, Hosanna Estate, Ago Palace Way, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did defile the victim ‘f’ 14years old by having sexual intercourse with her and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
COUNT II:” That you, Okpaku Francis ‘m’, on the 28th day of December, 2025, at No. 10, Alhaja Sikirat Street, Hosanna Estate, Ago Palace Way, Lagos, did sexually assault one girl ‘f 14years old by penetrating her anus with your penis and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
However, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Mr. Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
