Police operatives in Lagos have arrested a 31-year old man, Yusuf Hammed, who reportedly specialized in sleeping with under aged girls in order to satisfy his sexual desires.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Hammed, was arrested after he engaged three under aged girls within the ages of 6 and 8, and molested them in the process.

The incident happened at Aroromi Street, Ogudu area of Lagos, where they reside and he reportedly molested them on 21st September, 2019.

It was gathered that Hammed lured the victims into his apartment, removed their pants and forcefully penetrated them in turns.
The dastardly act was exposed after one of the victims revealed what happened and the matter was reported to the Police at the Gender Section of the Command for investigation.
Thus, Hammed was arrested and transferred to the Command for investigation over the alleged abuse.
During investigation, the suspect denied but when the victims were brought before him and they narrated how it happened, the suspect became speechless.
The Police found him culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement and penetration of the victims.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the victims were under aged.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E Nwaka, ordered him remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 4th November, 2019.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the defendant may be sentenced to life imprisonment if he is found guilty before Court for the alleged defilement.
