Man, 31, In Trouble For Stripping Naked & Begging Married Woman For S*x In Her Home

Police operatives from Ago Okota Division of the Lagos State Command have arrested a 31-year old man, Chibueze Esonwunne, for allegedly sneaking into a married woman’s house at night, stripping self naked in order to seduce her into a sex romp. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Israel Street, Ago Okota area of Lagos, where the victim, Mrs. Success Odinaka, resides with her husband.

The suspect, Chibueze, was alleged by the Police to have targeted that the woman’s husband was not around on the fateful day. Then at night, he broke into the house, removed his clothes and attempted to rape the woman on her matrimonial bed before she raised an alarm, which attracted other neighbours around. 

The Police was contacted and he was arrested as a thief, who went to the house to steal. But he reportedly denied and confessed to the Police what he actually went there to do.
He reportedly admitted to have sneaked into the woman’s house knowing fully that her husband was not around in order to have sex with her and not to steal anything in the house. He regretted that his mission did not work out because the woman raised alarm, he was caught and handed over to the Police for interrogation. 

While he was detained at the station, he attempted to escape by attacking a Police officer, ASP Michael Odoh, as he pulled the gate of the station to escape.
However, he was held by Police operatives. After further interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Isolo Magistrates Court for breaking into the woman’s house and attempting to rape by forcefully removing his clothes in order to have sex with the victim without her consent. 
When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty.  

The prosecutor, Mr. Oje Uagbale, asked the Court to give a short adjournment for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.  Kusanu, granted him bail with two sureties in like sum while the matter was adjourned till 23rd May, 2022, for mention. 
He was remanded in custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions and may spend several years in custody for the alleged offence if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
