A 34-year old man, Emeneke Agugwo, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly luring a 16-year old girl and defiling her after sucking her breasts.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Okesanya Street, Papa Ajao Mushin area of Lagos, where they reside.

The Police alleged that the suspect lured the victim to his apartment, sucked her breasts and she became confused. And being unable to resist the act, she was eventually defiled by the suspect in the process, which angered the victim and made her to expose what happened to her.

The matter later was reported to the Police in the area and the suspect was arrested. From there, he was transferred to the Gender Section of the Lagos State Command.

After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and consequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

But the Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Olusegun Kokoye, who then asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice because of the nature of the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. S.O. Obasa, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of DPP’s advice, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant will remain in custody pending when the DPP’s report will clear him for the alleged offence.
