Man, 39, Arrested For Allegedly Defiling 2 Biological Under Aged Daughters

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 39-year old man, Best Orji, for allegedly engaging and defiling his two biological daughters aged 12 and 14 years. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, at the Command’s Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.
He explained that the mother of the children reported the matter to the Police on 30th April, 2025 and the victims were between the ages of 12 and 14 when the crime was committed.
The Image maker, CSP Hundeyin, stated that the complainant alleged that her husband committed the act in Surulere area of the state, where they reside.
“Upon receiving the report, Police swiftly apprehended the suspect. A medical examination was conducted on the victims at a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).
Following the investigation, the suspect, Best Orji, was arraigned in Court on 9th May, 2025, to face charges of defilement, under Section 137 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
However, the DPP’s legal advice will determine the charges against him if he is culpable for the alleged offence as charged by the Police.
The Police spokesman stated that the  Command, under the leadership of CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, has reiterated its unwavering commitment to reducing crime and criminality in the state.
Hundeyin assured residents and visitors that the Command shall continue to optimise the management and deployment of human and operational resources across the state.
