A 40-year old man, John Eze, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly engaging his 14-year old biological daughter in sex for several months before the victim eventually exposed him.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened between March and 27th October, 2025 at No. 173, Old Abeokuta Expressway, lyana- Ipaja, Lagos.
According to the Police, the suspect engaged the victim in the act for several months and when she was unable to bear it, she went to Elere Police Division and reported the matter.
The Police moved into action, arrested the suspect and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
The charge read:

However, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to give date and refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered the defendant to be remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
