Man, 40, Arraigned For Shaving Woman’s Private Part Without Her Consent

A 40-year old man, Issa Omotesho, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly shaving the private part of a woman, Ruka Tajudeen, after engaging her in sex. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 20th June,2025, at the detached house around Railway line Abattoir area Oko-Oba Agege, Lagos.

 

According to the Police, the complainant, who resides in Idiagbon Street, Ifako Ijaye, visited the man and they engaged in sex. Thereafter, he used a razor blade to shave the hairs on her private part and hide it.

His action instilled fear in the complainant, who then demanded for her hairs but he refused insisting that he wanted to use it for an undisclosed purpose.

 

The matter was reported to the Police at Abattoir Division and the man was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.

 

During interrogation, the man was asked to bring the complainant’s pubic hairs but he refused claiming that he has used the hairs for undisclosed purposes.

 

The Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.

 

The charges read:

COUNT I: “That you, Issa Omotesho ‘M’ on the 20th June, 2025, at about 0300hrs at detached house Railway line Abattoir area Oko-Oba Agege, Lagos State in Ikeja Magisterial district, did conduct yourself in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace by shaving the private part of one Ruka Tajudeen ‘F’ of Idiagbon Street, Ifako Ijaye, Lagos, without her consent and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 168(D) of the criminal laws of the Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”

 

COUNT II:”That you, Issa Omotesho ‘M’ on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district, did sexually assault one Ruka Tajudeen ‘F’ by shaving her private part without her consent and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 263(1) of criminal laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”

 

COUNT III: “That you, Issa Omotesho ‘M’ on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district, did shave the private part of one Ruka Tajudeen ‘F’ without her consent and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 134(b) of criminal laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”

 

However, he pleaded not guilty.

 

The prosecutor, Supol Phillip Ademigbuji, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.

 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kusanu, granted him bail with two sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.

 

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
