Man, 40, Caught Having S*x With Neighbour’s 3-Year Old Girl 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Agbo-Mola Street, Gberigbe area of Ikorodu, Lagos, where they reside.

The Police alleged that he lured the little girl to his apartment, removed her pants and then engaged her in sex by penetration before he was caught in the act.

The matter was reported to the Police in the area and he was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation.

After being interrogated over the dastardly act, Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned after the prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice since the victim was still a minor.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije, ordered his remand in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 10th January, 2023, for mention for the DPP’s report to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
