A 41-year old man, Kehinde Fatai, has been arrested in Lagos after he allegedly tricked a 15-year old girl into sex romp by fondling her two breasts and getting her confused.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Railway line at Fagba Bus Stop in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos, where they reside.
The girl was still in shock over what really happened to her after Fatai reportedly lured her into his apartment. He was said to have talked to her and at the same time fondled her breasts, which got her confused before he penetrated her.
However, after the act, she realised herself and raised alarm that she was confused by Fatai before he inserted his dick into her private part.
The matter was reported to the Police at Isokoko Division; Fatai was arrested and detained at the station for investigation.
During interrogation, it was gathered that Fatai admitted that he actually slept with her but that she consented to the act contrary to the victim’s claims.
The Police found Fatai culpable because of the age of the victim and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for rape which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
When he was brought to Court to be arraigned, the prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the victim was a minor.
The Court did not take his plea and ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while Fatai will remain in prison pending the outcome of the DPP’s report. The matter was adjourned till 6th November, 2019.
