Man, 45, Arrested For Presenting Forged University & NYSC Certificates For Teaching Job

A 45-year old man, Orumen Adekunle Ohole, has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly presenting forged Ambrose Ali University and NYSC discharge certificates for a teaching job in a school.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at GNA Schools in Megida area of Ayobo, Lagos, where Ohole reportedly went in search of the teaching job.
The suspect landed in trouble during the interview session when he presented the false certificates; the school management led by Otunba Akimpelumi Akinduro detected the alleged fraud, confronted him and he resorted to abusing and insulting him.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ayobo Division. He was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace by abusing the complainant and forgery.
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, did not object to his bail but asked the Court to give a short adjournment for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B. O. Osunsanmi, granted him bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment.
The matter was adjourned till 19th July, 2023, for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
