A 49-year old sex starved man, Femi Ogunbiyi, has displayed his boxing prowess on his wife, Folashade, by giving her blows and knocking her down during a public fight over accumulated anger in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ladipo Street, Oko-Oba area of Lagos State, where they reside.

The woman was rushed to the hospital after the brutal attack while the assault was reported to the Police at Isokoko Division. Police operatives then arrested Femi and detained him at the Station.

According to Police sources, Femi and Folashade had been having disagreement to the extent that they no longer sleep together as husband and wife.
According to their neighbours, that had been the major reason causing the rift between them because Femi was said to have complained to some neighbours about his wife’s attitude towards him.

The woman, Folashade, was said to had since avoided Femi to the extent that she does not allow him to touch her as his wife, which made Femi to be angry with her.

On the day the incident happened, they were said to have had exchange of words, which led to physical combat and Femi raged with anger, gave Folashade fist blows all over her body including her right eye, leg and hand.

After interrogation, the Police found Femi culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for assault on the wife.

Femi pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Mr. Victor Eruada, asked the Court to give a date for hearing so that the Police can prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M. O. Tanimola, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the matter for mention.
