Man Arraigned For Engaging Step- Daughter, 15, In Sex

A Lagos Magistrate Court has ordered for the remand of a man, Dominic Chucks Victor, for allegedly engaging his 15-year old step daughter in sex romp and deflowered her in the process.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ajayi Okeja Strect, lle-Eja Okerube Abaranj-Ikotun Lagos, where they reside.
According to the Police, the man is married and lives with the victim’s mother. He allegedly lured the victim when her mother was not around, engaged her in sex and warned her not to tell her mother about what happened.
However, the victim later revealed what happened to her mother and the matter was further reported to the Police at Ikotun Division. The Police promptly arrested and detained the man for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
The Police found him culpable for the alleged offence after thorough interrogation and charged him before the Magistrate Court.
However, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the Prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
