Man Arrested For Stealing Neighbours Christmas Goats

The residents of Igando, Akesan, Egan and its environs in Alimosho Local government area in Lagos are really in serious trouble following the disappearance of their goats since the beginning of the festive season.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that since the beginning of the month of December, their goats, fowls and other livestocks were said to be disappearing to the extent that some of them who have those animals no longer sleep at night and had to keep vigil to protect their animals.
Such vigil paid off when some robbers came to the area and stole a goat and one of them was caught while others escaped.
The 23-year old suspect, Fatai Yaya, was apprehended and handed over to the Police at Igando Division with one of the goats he had stolen which belongs to one Waisu Adamson worth about N50,000.

Having been found culpable, he was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for conspiracy and stealing but he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Simon Njue, asked the Court to fix a date for hearing since the defendant pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
Thus. the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O Shomade, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 8th January, 2020.
