Man Charged For Inserting Finger Into 7-Year Old Girl’s Private Part

A 27-year old Kelvin Anthony who was arraigned before a Lagos court for inserting his finger into a 7-year old girl’s private part has admitted and confessed that he did so to satisfy his sexual desire.

The incident happened at Baba Ijebu Street, Bakare Estate, Isheri Igando area of Lagos where the suspect and the victim’s parents reside.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect was arrested after the victim informed her parents what transpired between her and Anthony when they were not around.
The victim reportedly told her parents that Anthony lured him into his house and locked his door from inside.

She said “He removed my pant and was putting his finger into private and later warned me not to tell anybody”

It was gathered that when the victim’s parents confronted Anthony over the allegation, he denied but the victim insisted and gave more information on what transpired between them.

The matter was reported to the Police at Igando Division before it was transferred to Police Gender section at Ikeja Command.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Anthony later confessed and said that he did not penetrate her to deflower her.

He was charged before the court for the alleged offence. He pleaded guilty of indecent assault on the victim before the Magistrates court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos where he was arraigned.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs B.O. Osunsanmi ordered that Anthony be remanded in prison custody pending when the prosecutor will present the fact of the matter before he will be sentenced accordingly.

The matter came up on Tuesday for facts and sentence but was further adjourned.
