Man Docked For Inserting Finger Into Daughter’s Private

 A 40-year old man, Idowu Abioye, has landed in prison in Lagos after he allegedly inserted his finger into his 10-year old daughter’s private part claiming that he was playing with her.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Cele 2 of Aga area of Ikorodu, Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that the victim was cleaning herself up after she had used the toilet when the father got there and inserted his finger into her private part. The visibly angry victim went inside and told her mother what happened. The mother, who did not take it lightly, raised alarm which attracted other neighbours. Before their neighbours, Idowu insisted that he was only playing with his daughter.

However, the incident was reported to the Police and he was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for investigation.
During investigation, the Police found Idowu culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for indecent assault on her daughter.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, asked the Court to give a date for trial to enable the police to prove the matter.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat, granted Idowu bail in the sum N200,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 3rd June, 2019.
