Man Docked For Sleeping With Neighbours’ Two Daughters

A man, Mr. Izuchukwu Bright, has been arrested after he was caught for having sex with his neighbours two little daughters aged 7 and 6 on the same day in their compound in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at House 8, Road 21 in FESTAC town, Lagos, where both Bright and the victims’ parents resided.
The victims were said to have suffered their fate when their parents went out as Bright lured them into his apartment and defiled them in turns.
However, the alleged rape was exposed after one of their neighbours suspected and tipped one of the parents of the victims. They therefore opened their private parts and discovered that they had been tempered with. The victims were then interrogated and they narrated what happened; how Bright took them to his apartment, removed their pants and raped them in turns.
The matter was reported to the police at the FESTAC Division; Bright was arrested and detained at the police station.
However, during interrogation he denied and the matter was then transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command at Ikeja, Lagos, for further investigation.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that Bright still denied claiming that it was a calculated attempt to blackmail him by the victims’ parents.
However, his claims crumbled when the victims were brought before him and they narrated what happened separately in his presence.
The police found him culpable and charged him before Ogba Magistrates court for defilement of minors.
The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher Danny, informed the court that the incident happened on the same day in their house where they resided.
The court denied him bail and did not take his plea because it was a case of felony.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, ordered Bright to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to send his file to DPP for advice.
The matter was further adjourned till 1r August, 2018, for the report of DPP to available.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that if Bright was found culpable, he faces trial and gets convicted; he may be jailed up to 10 years for the alleged offence.
