Man Dumps Excreta Inside Neighbour’s Room

The Police at Orile Division have arrested a 29-year old man, Godwin Benson, who had a disagreement with his neighbour, Jude Nwachukwu, and he reportedly dumped his excreta inside his room apartment in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Karimu Street in Orile Iganmu area of Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that the victim had a disagreement with the suspect in their compound which led to exchange of words and he threatened to deal with him.
In carrying out his threat, Benson was said to have used a nylon bag to discharge his excreta, poured it inside Jude’s house and left.
However, the whole thing was exposed after the whole house got polluted by the time had returned home. He was said to have searched the house, discovered where the excreta was dumped and raised alarm which attracted their neighbours.
Jude reportedly claimed that Benson had fulfilled his threat to deal with him and reported the matter to the Police. He claimed that Benson had planted charm in his room. But when he was arrested where he denied planting charm in the victim’s house.
He then revealed that it was his excreta that he dumped in his room and not charm as alleged by the complainant.

The Police found him culpable and later charged him Ejigbo Magistrate Court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace, health hazard on the victim and assault.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Bayo Adebayo, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since the defendant pleaded not guilty, to enable the Police to prove the matter before the Court.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. O. O. Olatunji, granted Benson bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 21st August, 2019.
