Man Forces Daughter, 15, Into Sex Romp

A 40-year old man, Mr. Ubong Ime, has been arrested in Lagos for forcing his 15-year old daughter into sex romp.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oluwashina Street, Isale Haruna area of Obawole, Lagos.

The Akwa Ibom State-born Imeh, allegedly grabbed his daughter, forced her to the bed, penetrated her and warned her not to tell anyone about what happened. It was gathered that his daughter kept the sexual assault to herself because of the shame it will bring to her and the family.
However, Mr. Ime continued and wanted to make it a regular affair which the victim refused to accept; she then opened up and exposed him.
The matter was reported at Isokoko Police Division, Lagos. Thus, Mr. Ime was then arrested and detained at the police station for proper  interrogation and investigations.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during investigation, it was discovered that the suspect actually committed the act and had deflowered his daughter.
He was charged before the Ogba Magistrates court for defilement and incest.
That means Mr. Ime may spent the rest of his life in prison if he was found guilty by the court.
At the court where he was arraigned, the prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, informed the court that the defendant was the father of the victim and she had lost her virginity as a result of the act.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, did not take his plea and denied him bail as well.
The court ordered him to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to DPP for advice.
It was gathered that the DPP advice will determine the fate of Mr. Ime; if the matter will be transferred to the High court which may start his journey to life imprisonment if he was tried and found guilty.
