Man, Girlfriend Found De*d Inside Room

A man, identified as Samuel Osuji, and his girlfriend, Cynthia Obieshi, were reportedly found dead inside Samuel’s room at Nekede, Imo State.

According to a statement signed by the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando, the Divisional Police headquarters, Nekede/Ihiagwa Division acting on a report received at the Police Station moved to Room 19 Vic-Mic Lodge, situated around JMJ Bus stop. The operatives broke the room and found the lifeless body of Cynthia Obieshi and Samuel Osuji.

It was revealed that the lady, Cynthia, visited her boyfriend, Samuel on Saturday 13th June and passed the night there but unfortunately both of them did not wake up the next morning.

“Preliminary investigations suggest that the above deceased persons may have died as result of drug consumption”.

“Meanwhile, the corpses had been deposited in the morgue, while investigation is in progress” SP Ikeokwu said.
