CYRIACUS IZUEKWE

A man, Mr. Joshua Amata has landed in trouble after he was found with two wooden carved short guns without presenting license from the police authorities.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the operatives of Federal Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, accosted Amata at Mobil Junction, Satellite town in Lagos during the festive period with the guns and an axe.
The police suspected that he might be one of the cult members which he denied. He was subsequently arrested and detained at SARS cell as a criminal suspect with the toy guns and the axe as exhibits.

Not satisfied with his presentation, he was then arraigned before Ikeja Magistrates court for being in possession of the items without permission from the police authorities.
He pleaded not guilty.
He was granted bail in the sum of N100.000 with two sureties in like sum.
However, Amata was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
