Man Turns Hair Salon Into Sex Joint For Teenagers

The police have arrested a 43-year old man, Mr. Ebigwei Clement for turning his hair salon into a chalet where teenagers used for short time sex and he collected token fees as commission in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident took place at Ojudu area of Lagos where the salon was located. The suspect has been arrested and remanded.
Police source said that Mr. Clement opened the salon but was not getting much clients and so he decided to convert it to a drinking bar and chalet especially for teenagers who cannot afford money to lodge in a hotel. It was gathered that when the owner of the house, Mrs. Abiodun Alabede complained about the illegal conversion Mr. Clement threatened to deal with her. Mrs. Alabede was intimidated and afraid. She then reported the matter to the Commissioner of Police through a petition and the Command X-Sqaud officers were detailed to investigate the allegation against the suspect.
He was arrested, the place was shut and thereafter he was taken to the Command, where he was said to have confessed but denied that he threatened to kill Mrs. Alabede. The police found Clement culpable and charged him before Ikeja Magistrates court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and threat to life of Mrs. Alabede.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Precious Olatunji did not oppose his bail condition but asked the court to give a short date for the trial.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Y.O. Aje-Afunwa granted Clement bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum. The matter has been adjourned till 19 June, 2018.
