My Marriage To Olori Wuraola Is Intact, Ooni Clears Air On Alleged Break Up

Contrary to a report by a national newspaper and copied by various online websites and blogs, His Royal Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, has dispelled the rumour that his marriage to Olori Wuraola has crashed irretrievably and both have parted ways.

Speaking in a chat with encomium.ng through his spokesperson, Mr. Moses Olafare, the revered monarch stated that there’s no iota of truth in the story and further described it as nothing but a baseless rumour targeted at distracting the monarch.

The influential traditional ruler therefore enjoined the public to shun it in totality as there’s no squabble of any sort in his marriage to the Edo-born Olori.

“I don’t think there’s any need to comment on that as there’s no iota of truth in it. I think it’s just a calculated attempt targeted at distracting Baba from all the good works he’s embarking on. And that’s not possible. It’s just a baseless rumour and product of idleness. There’s peace in Ooni’s home,” the monarch’s spokesman said.

There have been rumours and assumptions on the 17-month marriage of the Ooni and the Olori with allegations of infidelity, high handedness and disobedience to the culture. But the palace has dispelled all these as figment of some people’s imagination.

In March 2016, Ooni Ogunwusi and his beautiful Olori tied the nuptial knots at very colorful ceremonies in Benin, Edo state, and Ile-Ife, Osun state.

Both events had dignitaries from far and near coming to rejoice with the youthful monarch and his queen.

Thereafter, the couple criss-crossed the world for their honeymoon and enjoy royal bliss as they step out together at many high-profile events.
