Mbadinuju Congratulates Prof Soludo

The former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju, (Odera) has sent warm felicitations and congratulated the new Governor-Elect of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, over his victory in the just concluded Governorship election in Anambra State. 

In a release signed by the former Governor’s son, Barr. Cheta Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Dr Mbadinuju praised the peaceful way the elections were conducted, despite the initial threat that characterised the preparations towards the election, and congratulated Prof Chukwuma Soludo for his success at the polls.

“I want to express my profound congratulations to the Governor-elect of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, and at the same time urge his opponents during the campaign to accept the result of the election. I strongly believe the Prof Soludo possesses the required vision that move Anambra State to the next level” Mbadinuju said. 

Dr Mbadinuju praised the Independent Electoral Commission, (INEC), for a job well done and thanked President Mohammed Buhari for his neutrality in this election. The former Governor thanked the electorate for conducting themselves peacefully during the election, and urged continued peace in Anambra State. 

The former Governor, who is now a Statesman, asked Prof Chukwuma Soludo to be magnanimous in victory.
