Sponsor of the competition and CEO of Mid-View Airlines Alhaji Muneer Bankole said he is sponsoring the competition because of the passion he has for the round leather game. He said he would use the competition to assist talented players to find means of livelihood.

According to him, some talents are on the streets of Lagos engaging in hawking, but with this competition, they would be discovered and hawking would become a thing of the past.

“Through this competition, we have awarded scholarships, rehabilitated schools and lifted many lives to something useful and we shall continue to assist the youth in this country to strive for excellence.”

Match coordinator, Taofeek Ajibola said that the fourth edition will surpass previous ones in terms of organization, officiating and standard of play by the participating teams.
