MFM To Sponsor Ajegunle Sports Festival

A Sports Director in Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Church, Godwin Enakhena, has announced that Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Oversser of the church, is ready to sponsor Agegunle Sports Festival later in the year. 

Enakhena who was among the invited speakers for Ajeromi Ifelodun Sports Summit held recently at the premises of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), confirmed that MFM has programmes for sports development and youths who are ready to take sports as a career.

In his speech, he reminded the participants how MFM helped many youths to become somebody today, saying that Agegunle has talents and the church is ready to harness the potentials in the community and its environs.

‘MFM is everywhere in Nigeria and outside Nigeria, sponsoring Agegunle Festival is a way of helping the youths and bring them to the limelight. MFM has done enough in the areas of discovering and nurturing talents. Most of our payers today in MFM FC and the basketball team were discovered on the streets, but today we give God the glory that all of them are doing well in their chosen career.

MFM has sponsored many youths to complete their education. If you come to MFM today, most of our players are graduate and they are doing well in their chosen career. We pay them well and we monitor their progress, so sponsoring Ajegunle Sports Festival is another avenue for MFM to see one or two talents we can sponsor to any level,” he said.

 The Director General, Ifelodun Sports Council, Anaelechukwu  McAnthony expressed gratitude to MFM for its kind gesture, he promised that they will begin preparation for the festival and send proposal to MFM for approval.
