Popular actor, Mike Ezuruonye is a happy man right now.

His debut movie, Brother Jekwu is doing very well at the cinemas as it has reportedly grossed over N20 million in 10 days.

Records from the distribution company revealed this and according to a movie pundit, that is a new record by any movie in cinemas in recent times.

Brother Jekwu is a comedy film and Mike’s first movie as an executive producer.

It was shot in Nigeria and Kenya.

Meanwhile, KCee, E-money and other members of Five Star Music family were at the Silverbird Cinemas in Ikeja, Lagos to see the movie.

Sources at the cinema said E-money bought tickets for 170 people to see the movie.

He also gave out several gifts to people around, a situation that nearly turned rowdy until the bouncers, who had tough time controlling the crowd, stepped in.
