Mkhitaryan Delays Sanchez Move To Man United

Posted on January 18, 2018

Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract worth £14 million after tax to join Manchester United from rivals Arsenal.

The former Barcelona man is now waiting to find out if Henrikh Mkhitaryan agrees to a switch in the other direction to Arsenal which would trigger his move to Old Trafford.

Sanchez was initially linked with a move to current Premier League leaders Manchester City, but the Citizens were unable to meet his demand.

Should Mkhitaryan agree to join Arsenal, then an official announcement is expected to be made soon and Sanchez could be part of Manchester United squad to face Burnley this weekend.

P.M.EXPRESS had reported that English Premier League campaigners Arsenal had lined up Bordeaux winger Malcom as possible replacement for the Chilean but it appeared they have reached an advanced stage in talks with Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But it is now left for Borussia Dortmund to decide whether the player leaves this month or he stays.
