Posted on April 16, 2026

Mo’Afrique, one of Nigeria’s foremost bespoke luxury fashion houses, is set to mark its tenth anniversary, celebrating a decade of redefining African fashion through craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural elegance.

Since its founding in 2016, Mo’Afrique has established itself as a leader in bespoke luxury, blending African heritage with contemporary designs to create timeless pieces that resonate across the continent and beyond.

Founder and Creative Director of Mo’Afrique, Omobolanle Olawole, notes that the past decade has been really exciting and satisfactory, given the impact the company has made in the lives of people and the economy generally.

“The past 10 years has been a period of real excitement and joy for us as we have overcome many challenges and brought smiles to many faces. We are happy to have contributed to the growth of the Nigerian economy and improved the lives of individuals and families.

“Mo’Afrique has thrived by staying true to our roots while pushing the boundaries of design. For a decade, we have dressed the individuals shaping Nigeria’s story,” she said.

Olawole added that the potential of Nigeria’s fashion is huge, noting that this informed the move to plan an expansion of its offerings with the intention to bring in greater expertise to the larger public.

“We are not celebrating ten years. We are defining what the next ten will look like for fashion, for business, and for African excellence, she noted.

She also revealed that plans have been perfected to celebrate 10 years of its operations.

“At ten years, our brand is not looking back. It is drawing a line forward. Anchored by the theme Celebrating a Legacy of Excellence, Mo’Afrique will mark our 10th anniversary in April with a huge event that will feature a convergence of Nigeria’s political, corporate, and cultural leadership, where influence, identity, and image intersect in Abuja”.
