Mrs Obiano Felicitates With Ndi Nne On Mothering Sunday

The wife of the immediate past Governor of Anambra State and frontline aspirant for Anambra North Senatorial District, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme), has felicitated with ndi Nne especially women of Anambra North on the occasion of the commemoration of Mothering Sunday. 

In a special message signed by the former First Lady and made available to newsmen at her husband’s country home in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, Mrs Obiano sent her good wishes to all mothers and urged them to make the occasion, which coincides with Divine Mercy Sunday, a time for reflection on activities and programmes that will enhance the welfare and wellbeing of the people as one community of the faithful in Christ. 

The wife of the former Anambra Governor urged women to ensure healthy communication and bonding in families, especially at this period. 

In her words, “On this Divine Mercy Sunday, let us contemplate on the mercy of God, and embrace the overflowing blessings of the Easter Celebration, which we conclude today, so as to tap the grace of God reserved for mothers on this special Mother’s Sunday. I have no doubt inspite of the multifarous challenges confronting us as parents, we will be strengthened in our dedication to duties in the family, in our communities, as well as Anambra North Senatorial District and beyond”. 

The Senatorial Aspirant, who is the founder of renowned charity based organisation, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), as well as an advocate of women empowerment and real participatory democracy without let or hindrance, stated that the wellbeing of women and the girl-child is prominent as one of her Legislative agendas. She also called on mothers to use the occassion as they normally do, to touch lives of the less privileged.
