Muri-Okunola Commiserates With Family Of Late Sadiq Daba

The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, on Thursday, commiserated with the family of Late Sadiq Daba at his residence, MKO Abiola Gardens, CBD, Ikeja, describing him as a very great man, who was a model to the youths and aspiring actors.

He said, “On behalf of the Governor, the State Government and the people of Lagos State. I commiserate with Mrs. Daba, the children and the entire Daba family on the loss of Sadiq Daba, who had contributed greatly to the development of the entertainment industry in the country and a role model to many Nigerians”.

Muri-Okunola also prayed that the Almighty Allah grant the family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and Aljahnah Fridhous to the departed soul.

Responding on behalf of the family, the widow and Permanent Secretary (Local Government Service Commission), Mrs. Mobolaji Daba, appreciated the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, for his leadership role, just as she expressed her gratitude to the delegation for the timely visit and for being supportive at all times.

Other members of the delegation for the condolence visit included Permanent Secretaries, Mr. Olusegun Ajibade (PSO), Mr. Hakeem Adeniji, (Agric), Mr. Olusina Thorpe, (Info & Strategy), Directors and other Management Staff in the Public Service Office, Office of the Head of Service.

Late Sadiq Daba, a Veteran Broadcaster and Actor, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, after a long term battle with leukaemia and prostate cancer.
