NAFDAC Pledges Full Support To Anambra State Govt

During a courtesy visit by the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Medicals and Pharmaceuticals, Dr Godwin Nnadozie to the NAFDAC DG, Prof Moji Adeyeye, the DG praised Gov. Soludo’s commitment to positioning Anambra state and Nigeria on the world economic map as a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and distribution headquarters of Africa with the ongoing projects in the State in line with the federal government’s clear direction and renewed hope agenda.
The project includes Anambra State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Park in Ogboji, Orumba South LGA sitting on 200 hectares of land aiming to enhance medicine security and accessibility. A Distribution Hub in Oba, Idemilli south LGA of Anambra State, sitting on 50 hectares of Land, aiming for efficient and effective drug distribution in a serene and regulated environment.
NAFDAC will partner with the state from ground to completion to ensure the best manufacturing standard for the pharmaceuticals and provide total support in the relocation of the open drug market especially the bridgehead drug market to Oba as it is also consistent with the mandate to the federal ministry of health to unlock health-care value chain initiative.
NAFDAC has assured technical and regulatory support for rapid authorizations.
This partnership promises economic growth and improved healthcare for Nigeria and Africa.
