National Young Leaders Summit Holds In August

 The annual National Young Leaders Summit is set to hold on 2nd of August, 2018.

This year’s edition slated for Lagos, will take place at NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos by 9am. The theme of the summit is “Bridging The Gap…The Yesterday, Today and The Future in Nigerian Politics”.

Expected keynote speakers and panelists are Prof Kingsley Moghalu – former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria and a presidential aspirant, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson (APC Women Leader, South West), Omoyele Sowore (Sahara Reporters and presidential aspirant), Fela Durotoye – a presidential aspirant, Dr. Sylvester Odion, Sola Salako Ajulo (Consumer Rights Advocacy icon) and Ahmed Buhari.

According to the convener of the summit, Comrade Ojikutu Ahmed Adeniyi, he said that the annual event provides a platform for networking of young Nigerians and creates room for political mentoring for young emerging politicians. He said that it equally provides a platform for learning and development of young political participants. Comrade Ojikutu further explained that it is an opportunity to position the mindset of the young political leaders towards understanding the real political situations and know how to survive the perceived harsh Nigerian political terrain.

Ojikutu told P.M.EXPRESS that plans were in top gear to make the summit a memorable experience for the young participants.
