Native Doctor Arrested Over Failed Money Ritual

A native doctor, Nasirudeen Abdulahi has landed in trouble for obtaining money and preparing charms to enable one gullible James Jimoh become rich overnight and the charms failed to work in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspect told the victim that he possessed powers to make poor people to become rich people overnight. However, he gave him certain conditions which included that the victim will bring certain amount of money for him to buy some materials for the charms.

A police source told P.M.EXPRESS that Jimoh went to borrow N100,000 and gave to the suspect for the charms.
The suspect asked the victim to come back on an agreed date to carry the charms. However, the whole thing turned out to be a scam as the victim collected the charms and kept them in his house for riches to come to no avail.

It was gathered that when Jimoh had tried all the rituals the suspect asked him to perform, waited for the money to come to no avail, he then went back to the native doctor. He asked the suspect to refund his money and take back the charms because it did not work. He refused and threatened to deal with him.

The victim went to Itire Police division and reported the alleged scam. Abdulahi was arrested and taken to the police station.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the suspect informed the police that he had prepared the charms as they had agreed but he was not God that will make it to work. He said he had used the money to prepare the charms as such the victim cannot get his money back again.

The suspect was charged before Isolo Magistrates court for the alleged scam.

He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Teluwo granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety.
Abdulahi was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 12 February, 2018.
