Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Celebrates 14 Members Birthday In Grand Style

It was a grand moment of life for Ndi Buru Otu Association of Nigeria, founded by Eze Chika Nwokedi, as they celebrated 14 of their members during their birthday for the month of May in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the celebration took place at the association’s event center at Ijegun area of Lagos during their General Meeting, which was attended by their friends, families and wellwishers of the celebrants.

The celebrants included Ichie Peter Nnajiego, Chief (Mrs.) Adaobi Odili, Chief Uche Ezeh, Pastor Ukaigwe Emmanuel, Chief Ndubisi Ebem, Chief Uche Nwafor, Uzoigwe Nkiruka, Okechukwu Echesirim, Lolo Rita Akubueze, Chisom Asomugha, Mrs. Regina Achoru, Ifeanyi Nwadika, Ngozi Aguama and Joy Udegbe (Akwauugo).
The president of the group, Eze Nwokedi, explained the significance of the celebration which was embedded in unity and love among members, stressing that Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Association celebrates members when they are still alive and not when they are dead.

Nwokedi believes that it is better to celebrate loved ones when they are alive than when such person dies as he will not know what happens when he is no more.
He stated that members were grouped into 12 according to their months from January to December. The members will entertain and show the celebrants love by presenting them with different gifts during the celebration.

The President explained that the group’s vision is the welfare of the members and the association has impacted and empowered members in different ways including given them loans, assisting them to become landlords, taking care of the widows and less privileged in the society.

Eze Nwokedi explained that the group takes the welfare of its members seriously to the extent that if a member invites them to an event, the association has agreed to honour such event with N2m, which has been a source of motivation for members.
The climax of the event was the cutting of the birthday cake and prayer led by Rev. Moses Okwuosa, who asked God to continue to show mercy, love and protection on the celebrants and members of Ndi Igbo Buru Otu.

There was also a raffle draw, which was won by lucky members, Entertainment, dance, music, presentation and exchange of gifts to the celebrants added spice to the occasion.
