The former Governor of lmo State and Senator Representing lmo West Senatorial District, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has wished the Blessed people of his lmo West Senatorial District in particular, lmo people and Nigerians in general, happy and prosperous New year.

Senator Okorocha thanked God Almighty,  in a very special way, for launching the good people of his lmo West Senatorial District, lmo people and Nigerians as a whole, into the New year with not only excitement and enthusiasm, but with light at the end of the tunnel.

He prayed that the good Lord, who saw us through 2020, shall, in His infinite mercy, also see all of us through 2021. He added that what we could not achieve in 2020 for any reason, God would enable us to achieve more than that in 2021.
Okorocha remarked that since God had shown us his immense love by keeping us healthy and alive in 2020 and has also brought us into 2021 which we did not pay for, we should then  show appreciation of these gestures  by loving one another this year, like we had never done before.

He advised that both the leaders and the led should stop beating war drums, and act and speak in ways and manners that would enthrone or ensure peace and happiness.
Finally, he prayed that God should be with us always,  in fulfilment of his promise that he would be with us always.
