Nigeria Joins Other Federations At 2019 ITU Congress

Nigeria Triathlon Union (NTU) is attending the ongoing 2019 International Triathlon Union Congress in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The NTU, ably represented by its President, Prince Wale Oladunjoye and the Vice President, Madam Ize, joined other executives of national federations across the world to attend the 2019 ITU Congress at Movenpick Hotel, Lausanne, Switzerland.
The Congress, which started on Tuesday with Executive Board Meeting, will end with a Gala Dinner on Saturday.
 
P..M. EXPRESS reports that Thursday evening sees Prince Oladunjoye and Madam Ize joining their African counterparts to attend Continental Conference Meeting – Africa. On Friday, it will be Paratriathlon National Federations Meeting, while  on Saturday, before the Gala, there will be National Federation Services & Development Meeting.
 
Prince Oladunjoye told P..M.EXPRESS that the NTU will at all times strived to attend international meetings as the NTU is ready to collaborate with established Triathlon national federations across the world.
 
He disclosed that Nigeria participated at Luxor tournament in Egypt last year and was also at Accra, Ghana event with the athletes excelling in those tournaments.
 
“We are spreading to schools, clubs, armed forces and higher institutions in Nigeria with Community Courses to create better understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport. I must also thank our sponsors for their partner ship and support since we came on board in NTU,” Oladunjoye said.
