Super Eagles fumbled and were not coordinated, but the team were very fortunate to have defeated Angola to book a place in the semi final of the ongoing CHAN 2018 in Morocco.

This was the summation coming from Senator Obinna Ogba , the chairman Senate Committee on Sports.

Senator Obinna Ogba spoke exclusively to PM EXPRESS in Tanger, as he  expressed the fact that god of soccer was on the side of Nigeria, hence the victory recorded by the team.

” I must tell you the truth. The team fumbled and the players were not coordinated. It was just that god of soccer was on our side and we won. The technical crew and the players must go back to the drawing board and ensure a better performance in the game against Sudan.

” Despite eliminating Zambia from the tournament , I don’t see Sudan stopping Nigeria , but the Super Eagles  must play better to avoid a shock defeat to Sudan.” Senator Ogba said.

” But I am very optimistic that we can beat Sudan. They are not fantastic and they are beatable . Zambia would have been a more difficult opponents to play against . We know how the Zambians play their football and it would have been very difficult game for Nigeria .

“Now that Super Eagles will be playing Sudan , I still want to point out that the team must be coordinated to beat Sudan because they are beatable, ” he concluded .
