The State Government of Osun has announced that it will likely complete Olaiya Flyover Project before the stipulated nine months deadline. Also, Governor Oyetola will be commissioning the 8.1km of Mooro- Yakoyo-Ife Road on Thursday.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has also assured citizens of the completion of infrastructural projects embarked upon, including those inherited from the previous administration.

According to a statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, on Monday after the week’s State Executive Council Meeting, Governor Oyetola also said work is being intensified to ensure the completion of the Olaiya flyover before the set nine months delivery time.

The statement read in part: “Governor Oyetola has said that his administration will not abandon any project, including those it inherited. Fortunately, our contractors are committed to both quality and deadline. Unlike in the past when contractors shifted the goal post in the middle of the game. For the projects that we inherited,  work has resumed on different sites across the state.

“We are very close to the completion of the Olaiya Flover and it will be ready just in time for the third anniversary of the administration.
“Also, the Governor will be commissioning the 8.1km Moro Junction- Yakoyo – Ipetumodu- Asipa- Ife/Ibadan Expressway on Thursday. It’s the biggest single road project in Ife Area in the last 20 years.

“The Oyetola administration is totally committed to infrastructure renewal, not just at the state capital but across the state”, the statement read.
