Oba Elegushi Congratulates Muri-Okunola, Lagos New HoS

The Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi has congratulated the newly appointed Head of Service (HOS) of Lagos State, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

In a release signed by Special Assistant, Public Affairs to Oba Elegushi, Mr. Tope Oyefeso, the monarch described Muri-Okunola’s appointment as a glorious peak to a blistering career.

He also described Muri-Okunola as a thoroughbred technocrat and experience  bureaucrat, who has done well in the service of the State Government over the years and his appointment as the Head of Service is well deserved.

“I have shared a special relationship with you over the years and I can attest to your commitment to service, dedication to duties and your indelible footprints in various capacities you have served are noticed by all, which makes this appointment truly merited.

The Monarch enjoin the new HOS to use the new office to continue in his trademark of excellence and ensure the Lagos State Civil Service retains its position as the first amongst equals in the country.

Muri-Okunola was on Sunday appointed as the 21st Head of Service of Lagos by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Until his appointment, he was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
