Obasa Congratulates Jakande On His 91st Birthday

The Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mudashiru Obasa, has felicitated with the first Civilian Governor of Lagos, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, on his 91st birthday.


In his birthday message, Rt. Hon. Obasa said, “Today, I celebrate a man of distinct success, a true servant of the people, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande. The quality of your work while in government still speaks volume about your dedication, commitment, forthrightness and passion for the well being of the people and the development of the State”. 

“Even after over 40 years of your administration, your legacies are still widely acclaimed as monumental in Lagos State.”

“Posterity will not forget your role and achievements as the pioneer Civilian Governor of Lagos State.”

“May Allah continue to keep you safe in sound and robust health. Happy Birthday Sir!” Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa concluded.
