Odunmbaku Bags Leadership Award

In recognition of his tremendous contribution to the education sector at the grassroots level, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, was given a ‘Leadership Award’ by the Ikeja Branch of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT).
The award was presented to the Ojodu Mayor at a gathering organized to mark year 2022 Teachers’ Day.

While being presented with the award, encomiums were showered on Odunmbaku particularly for his immeasurable support during the unfortunate accident involving several students at Millennium School accident last year, the recently concluded Teachers’ Empowerment Scheme, donation of One Million Naira to L.G.E.A for their official vehicle, payment of running cost to the Head Teachers amongst others educational initiatives.

In attendance were the Chairman ably represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Supervisor for Education Hon. Olanrewaju Isaac, HOD Education Mrs. Ganiyat Belo, Tutor-General/ Perm Sec. Education District 6 and the Education Secretary Ikeja L.G.E.A. amongst other dignitaries.
