Ogene Igbo Meets With APGA Oyi Wards and LGA Executive Members

The Spokesman of the Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo Campaign Organisation, Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili (Ogene Igbo), earlier met with the Oyi All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Wards and Local Government Area Executives.

In his remarks, Ogene Igbo said, “I’m here to present the gospel of Akachukwu Nwankpo as his John the Baptist. I’m the one crying in the wilderness saying “make way, make way, for he who is coming is greater than the greatest, greater than he who has come”.

“I’m here as onye Oyi, and as our party slogan states “onye ayana nwanne ya. I’m  one of you, we have played as a team in the past and achieved victory. Let’s play together again. The only aspirant who will wipe your tears away is Akachukwu Nwankpo; he is approachable, reachable and down to earth. Don’t vote for the aspirant you cannot reach when he becomes the Governor. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.”

“I’m here to sue for peace ahead of the Wards Congress. We must eschew all forms of electoral violence, and brigandage. Remember, when we get it right at the Wards Congress, the Primaries will be hitch free and hugely successful. So, shun violence, let’s play by the rules.”

“I’m here to appreciate the leadership of our great party APGA at both LGA and Wards level. You have done marvelously well. APGA Oyi is indivisible, and indestructible. Together we shall deliver Akachukwu Nwankpo at the primaries this month. I will need your contribution to be able to deliver Oyi to Akachukwu Nwankpo. I need your support. I have never failed you, and you know it.”

“Akachukwu Nwankpo is greater than the greatest of all the aspirants. He is the only aspirant who has empowered Oyi people in thousand folds when he was Special Adviser to the former President Goodluck Jonathan.  As the Executive Secretary at SURE-P, Akachukwu ensured Ndi Oyi got what was accrued to them in large volumes. And our Party Chairman, Honourable Onochie Taker and others here today are the living witnesses.”

“I know we all cannot be in this same camp, but remember we need each other at the main election on November 6. A vote for Akachukwu at the Primaries is a vote for the survival of APGA. Search your minds, be sincere, who among the aspirants has the interest of Oyi at heart? Before you vote for any aspirants ensure it’s based on personal conviction that he is the right man for the job, do not vote because someone influenced you with pittance. Do not vote because someone is popular than the other. In the history of APGA, no governorship candidate was popular before he was elected to fly the party flag, the party always go for strength of character. The truth is the so-called popular aspirants are non electable, they have political baggage and the opposition are waiting for APGA to misstep. Whatever you need for the primaries Akachukwu Nwankpo is equal to the task. No one amongst the aspirants can beat him to the act of philanthropism. We are well prepared for the game.”

“Great minds in our party, who wants it to survive, have laboured hard to return power to the wards, power to the members of the party at the grassroots as seen in the  party guidelines for the primary. Some people made it possible, we must never forget. APGA is our life, let us rise and  protect it. It’s now or never.”
