Ogun MURIC Commends Senator Adeola Yayi For Sponsoring 190 Muslims On 2025 Hajj

Posted on June 18, 2025
The Ogun State Chapter of the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, has expressed heartfelt appreciation and commendation to Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) for sponsoring 100 Muslims for the 2025 hajj.
The Commendation message was made available by the State Chairman Of MURIC in Ogun State, Alhaji Tajudeen Jimoh Alao and made public by the State Secretary of MURIC Alhaji Olaleye Rasheed Damilare.
MURIC stated, “This commendable act is not only generous in material terms but is also spiritually profound. It reflects a sincere heart that seeks the pleasure of Allah and a soul that understands the importance of supporting religion and lifting the burdens of others. At a time when many Nigerians are facing serious economic hardship, this initiative has restored hope, faith, and joy in the hearts of 190 Muslim families across the state and beyond”.
“Senator YAYI’s gesture stands as a towering example of true servant-leadership. His action mirrors the words of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who said:
*Whoever helps his brother in need, Allah will be there in his own time of need.”*
 *(Sahih Muslim, 2699)*
“We are deeply moved and spiritually inspired by this act of kindness. Hajj is not just a journey, it is the fifth pillar of Islam, a life-transforming act of worship that many long for but only a few can afford. By facilitating this sacred obligation for 190 pilgrims, Senator YAYI has invested in the eternal reward of the Hereafter.”
*”This is not the first time the Distinguished Senator has shown concern for the welfare of his constituents and the Muslim community at large. His track record of supporting education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and religious activities confirms that his heart beats for the people. However, this Hajj sponsorship stands out as a divine act—one that only those blessed with deep spiritual insight and selfless compassion can undertake.*
“We pray earnestly:
*May Allah accept this Hajj sponsorship as a sadaqah jāriyah (continuous charity) for Senator YAYI and his family.*
‘May Allah bless him with long life, good health, unwavering faith, and continued success in both worlds. May his own prayers be answered swiftly. May Allah accept him in the rank of the Christians whom Allah described as friends of Muslims and grant him the full rewards such deserve. Āmīn.”
“Ogun MURIC calls on other Muslim public office holders, philanthropists and leaders to emulate this rare example of faith in action. Leadership is not just about political power; it is about touching lives and elevating souls. Indeed, history will remember Senator YAYI not just for the positions he held, but for the lives he transformed and the du‘ās (prayers) he inspired.”
“As we conclude, we say once again:
*Senator YAYI, may your reward be as vast as the plains of ‘Arafah and as radiant as the white garments of Muslim pilgrims (Hujjāj).*
*You have brought joy to the Muslim community, and Allah will surely multiply that joy for you.*”
