OJB Foundation Organises A Two-Day Free Cancer Awareness, Test & Examination Programme

It was a historic moment on Saturday 22nd February, 2020, in Aguda, Ward B, Ojodu LCDA, as OJB Foundation in conjunction with Biopsy Clinic, organised a cancer awareness, tests and examination programme which hundreds of Aguda residents and beyond benefiting from it.

It was an ecstatic moment for all the beneficiaries because their eyes were opened to the dangers of cancer and knowledge was shared on how to take care of themselves in order to prevent this terminal diseases, which is killing people even faster than HIV.


Not only the knowledge shared, tests and different examinations were carried out ranging from breast examination to prostate cancer test and other related examinations on attendees and medical reports and advice were given.



While speaking with the attendees/beneficiaries, the President of the Foundation, Hon. Olaide John Bello (OJB), thanked residents and faithful party members for trooping out to take advantage of the initiative. He said it is a different thing to organise a programme and it is another ball game for people to troop out.

He promised to do more in the coming weeks as the Foundation has earmarked a good number of programmes from health to empowerment, to free skill acquisitions in order to ameliorate the sufferings of the people first in Ward B and then to the general populace within Ikeja Federal Constituency.
